Ely City Hockey Club

Back to Activities

Ely City Hockey Club is a ClubMark accredited, friendly club that runs three mens teams, three ladies teams and a thriving junior section.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

    • Whether playing, umpiring, coaching or helping to run the club, you are part of a vibrant and welcoming team.
    • Playing hockey and umpiring require a degree of physical activity and so joining in is good for your physical health.
    • Hockey is played outdoors in all weathers and so you will benefit from being outside in the fresh air.

  • The first three training sessions are free to anyone wishing to turn up and have a go.

Contact the club directly for details of membership fees.

  • Members can attend weekly training sessions
  • Members may be chosen for one of the teams for weekly matches on a Saturday during the season
  • Members have access to the EOSA Clubhouse and bar when it is open and can take part in all their social events.

Additional Info:

  • Ely City Hockey Club also welcome non players who would like to umpire, coach or help with the running of the Club. They actively train and develop anyone wishing to volunteer in particular roles.
