Back to Activities

Fishing is an activity that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, including those with disabilities. Everybody Can Fish run small group angling sessions around Cambridgeshire where you can learn a new skill while enjoying spending time outdoors in nature.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • learning something new can give you a confidence boost;
  • fishing in a small group is a sociable activity – you can spend time with people in a friendly space where there is no pressure to chat.

It was amazing to see both of the boys sitting in one place peacefully, I normally have to chase after them!” Anna – Parent of two autistic children.

What to Expect

The private sessions can be for 1 or 2 hours, and are normally run for groups of around 5-6 people, but up to 8 people can be accommodated. Contact John on [email protected] or 07747152258, he will be able to give you more information about the sessions, and advise on group size and timings.

For both the public and private sessions all equipment will be provided, you will just need to wear outdoor clothing suitable for the weather.
