What to Expect

They run courses at Milton Country Park near Cambridge a few times per year where you can work towards the Angling Trust’s introductory ‘Get Fishing Awards’. There are three levels, each involving a one-hour session. Upcoming courses will be listed on the Milton Country Park website.
Alternatively, you can book Everybody Can Fish to run a private session for your group, either at Milton Country Park, or at a fishing venue nearer to you. The private sessions can be for 1 or 2 hours, and are normally run for groups of around 5-6 people, but up to 8 people can be accommodated. Contact John on [email protected] or 07747152258, he will be able to give you more information about the sessions, and advise on group size and timings.
For both the public and private sessions all equipment will be provided, you will just need to wear outdoor clothing suitable for the weather. The session will begin with a short health and safety talk, you will then help to catch and net fish. You will learn how to safely unhook and handle a fish and return it to the water.
