This activity is good for wellbeing because
- Reading helps us to unwind and to connect to the wider world. Libraries have a wealth of physical and digital resources to help you read for pleasure, learning and research
- They can help you navigate and access good quality health information and signpost you to further resources and support

What to Expect?
If you’d like to join the libraries simply approach one of the friendly staff wearing a green lanyard and they can help you to do so. You don’t need to bring any documentation and the simple process only takes about 5 minutes. Your card can then be used at any Cambridgeshire library. You can also join online by clicking here.
As well as the lending library for books and other media, there are plenty of local resources and information about what groups and activities are coming up – these vary from branch to branch so take a look at your local library from the list below:
Don’t forget that as well as the library branches, there is also a mobile library service via which you can even order material to be delivered closer to home. Click here for more information.
Library membership is free
Some activities taking place at the library may have a fee – please see individual event info for details.
