RCE Wellbeing Hub

Back to Activities

RCE Wellbeing Hub (Formerly Recovery College East) offers short bitesize courses, online and face-to-face, on a variety of topics aimed at helping us look after our own wellbeing and those around us. Volunteers are important for this work.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • RCE Wellbeing Hub enables people to find hope in their journey – celebrating and growing new and existing skills
  • RCE Wellbeing Hub empowers people to be in control of their wellbeing by providing ‘top tips’ which people can use in their every day lives.
  • RCE Wellbeing Hub supports people to find opportunities to live well within their community.

I loved how inclusive and interactive the course was, and how honestly and generously lived experience was shared’

Everyone was given time and space to share and be acknowledged, lots of good practical tips and encouragement

‘The positivity, the compassion and kindness the focus on hope’

Who can attend and how do I apply for courses?

Anyone aged 18 or over can enrol with the RCE Wellbeing Hub; you don’t need to be involved with mental health services. Many of their students are or have been supported by mental health services; however, carers, health professionals, students and friends and family can also benefit from learning with them and are more than welcome to attend. Simply submit the online registration form and they will contact you to let you know which courses you have been enrolled on.

There is no fee and no entry requirement, but people need to register and enrol before attending.

If you are enrolled in an in-person course at the Cambridge location, it is a short walk from the Cambridge Train Station, and that is the closest parking.

If attending at the Eco Innovation Centre in Peterborough, the closest parking is in the Brooke Street Carpark. If arriving by bus, the Queensgate bus station is nearby. See the video below about where to enter the Eco Innovation Centre building.
