There are many tennis clubs and courts in East Cambridgeshire. Tennis is great fun and doesn't require much skill to start playing. You can play against a single opponent or in teams of two.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • physical activity is good for mental health
  • it’s a great way to meet new people
  • learning or improving a skill is satisfying

“Tennis helps me unwind from the day. I get on the court and just focus on hitting the ball.”

Outdoor courts in public places such as recreation grounds are often free to use.
Some clubs will offer the first session for free, so that you can see if they suit you. Speak to each club to enquire about whether this is an option.

Indoor courts charge a booking fee, either hourly or per session.
Tennis clubs generally operate a membership subscription entitling you to join some sessions with additional charges for things such as tournament entry. Enquire directly with the club for more information.
