Youth Clubs and Groups

Back to Activities

Run by a variety of providers in East Cambs, youth clubs and groups offer safe and inclusive spaces for young people to hang out, participate in activities and have fun.

This activity is good for wellbeing because

  • It’s good to socialise away from school, home and screens
  • Youth workers can help you with any challenges you may be facing – offering support, advice and encouragement
  • Taking part in activities and sports will teach you skills and give you a sense of achievement.

What to expect

Youth clubs provide somewhere to go, something to do and a safe and supervised place to hang out. Some youth clubs and groups are run by trained youth workers, some are run by volunteers. All will be Disclosure and Barring Service checked. The first time you go to a youth club or group, there will be a short registration form for your parent or guardian to complete to give you permission to attend.
