Citizens Advice Rural Cambs is your independent local advice charity. They can help East Cambs residents with benefits claims and debt advice – all totally free and in confidence.

Citizens Advice Rural Cambs are an independent charity providing expert information and advice to the residents of Rural Cambridgeshire. Their volunteer Gateway Assessors and Advisers are trained by their own training team to the highest standards to deliver this information and advice through multiple channels including email, telephone, face to face and web chat.

East Cambs residents can seek help with Universal Credit claims, debt advice and CLAS applications. For Universal Credit assistance only please call 0800 144 8 444 rather than the 0808.. number given.

Citizens Advice Rural Cambs are part of the national Citizens Advice organisation which aims to:

  • Provide the advice people need for the problems they face.
  • Influence policy makers to improve the policies and practices that affect people’s lives.

 

Their service is open to anyone: it is free, independent, confidential and impartial. Citizens Advice Rural Cambs exists to help those who live within rural Cambridgeshire.

Citizens Advice Rural Cambs offers volunteer opportunities.  You will help people in the community solve a wide range of problems and the training Citizens Advice deliver, which is a recognised accredited program.
