What to Expect
The East Cambs in-person support group is held fortnightly in rooms at Ely Methodist Church. It is open to anyone from across the district, you don’t have to book, you can turn up any time during the session, but if you would like to talk to the group’s co-ordinator first you can get in touch via the helpline on 01223 633536. Sessions offer a warm welcome, some light refreshment and an opportunity to talk with and be in the company of others in similar situations. There is also the opportunity to talk one-to-one with a Cruse trained volunteer.
The Methodist Church is on Chapel Street and the rooms are accessed via the door down the side of the building. There is some on street parking but there is also 2hrs free parking in St Mary’s Street Carpark, from where you can use a rear gate to directly access the venue.

Their telephone helpline is run by trained bereavement volunteers, who offer emotional support to anyone affected by grief. Find out more including the hours on their helpline page.

All support is free of charge.
Local in-person groups are grateful for a suggested donation of £2 to contribute to refreshments and room hire but this is entirely optional.
