Diversion Support Team

Back to Support

The Diversion Support Team's main aim is to support young people aged 10 - 17 who are having difficulties and have been in contact with the police. They will listen to their needs and work with them to support them to create a positive future by finding positive activities.

What to expect:

Referrals are accepted from a range of professionals, and families can also self refer into this service. To refer yourself or someone else please email the team with the name, date of birth and contact details.

Once referred, one of diversion support workers will make contact to arrange to meet face-to-face. They will see what the needs of the young person are and then typically have around 6 sessions, however this is flexible.
