Little People UK

Back to Support

Little People UK is a nationwide charity that supports people with dwarfism, their family and friends.

Little People UK provides support for anyone with a connection with dwarfism, whether it be a person with dwarfism themself, a family member or a friend, along with carers, all are welcome to any events.

They do this in a number of different ways;

  • They provide information and support on a variety of areas
  • They hold a range of events both online and in-person
  • They network with other organisations to collectively build knowledge
  • They raise awareness with professionals around the UK to ensure support is offered throughout a persons life time.

When attending an in-person event you will be welcomed by a member of the team, and online there will be an introduction - they are also more than happy to have a pre-introduction individually if this would be beneficial and all newcomers are welcome.

There are a number of different ways to sign up, events will be signposted on social media, the website and newsletter (for members). You are always more than welcome to get in touch with Little People UK directly for information, support or guidance,

Carers are welcome to attend and participate in sessions and events.

Little People UK hold free online sessions, many of which welcome newcomers as a taster session.

They are developing regional events which they hope to be cost free.

Attendance at the annual in-person events often incurs a charge, details including how to book are given in advance.
