Place Based Weight Management: Healthy You

Back to Support

Healthy You can help you to lose weight. They run a 12-week group programme with friendly and sociable sessions. The service can support you to achieve a healthier weight and improve your overall well-being.

What to expect

The Healthy Weight Management programme offers a psychologically informed model, delivered through weekly group sessions that include topics such as:

  • Food choices and portion sizes
  • Moving more in ways that work for you
  • Sleep and stress
  • Understanding emotions and habits around eating

You’ll get helpful tools and kind support each week, and you’ll never be judged, just supported.

The Healthy You team don’t tell people what to do; instead, you will be guided and supported to understand how thoughts, emotions and feelings influence decisions. They’ll help you develop strategies to make healthier choices, cope with setbacks and manage specific triggers like stress.

Clinics run in locations across Cambridgeshire, and there are daytime and evening options available.

If attending sessions in-person doesn’t work for you, you can attend virtual clinics online.
